MOPS

What is a MOPS Group?
MOPS groups are communities that strive to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be. MOPS groups can help! There are more than 3900 MOPS groups meeting across the United States and in 35 countries around the world. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges. To learn more about MOPS visit their website at

Where is this place? It’s called MOPS and they meet in Savannah, Missouri. Join us the second Tuesday of every month, 6 - 8 p.m. at Savannah United Methodist Church.  Next Meeting: September 2nd, 4-6 pm, Kickoff Event

ADOPT-A-MOP PROGRAM

MOPS moms have an amazing influence on the world around them. They raise their children to have strong values and become loving, contributing adults. They bring faith to their marriages and a spiritually-driven sense of purpose to all their relationships. They change their families and communities, making the world better for all of us. Help us help MOPs by "Adopting A MOP"!  A gift of $45 will give an adopted MOPS mother the opportunity to experience the power of God's love by ensuring this marvelous program continues to provide support and encouragment to more moms while they develop relationships with Jesus. Send your donation to SUMC, 103 N. 4th, Savannah, MO 64485 and earmark it for "MOPS".
