Safe Sanctuaries

 At Savannah United Methodist Church, we care deeply about the welfare and safety of every child and youth who participate in the programs and ministries we provide. We take seriously our responsibility to respect the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health of every person involved in leading or participating in ministry. This is consistent with God’s Word and with sharing the love of God through Jesus Christ.

Safe Sanctuaries Policies and Procedures are available to all members of the congregation, as well as parents and family members of children and youth. It is recommended that each area of ministry review the policy and procedures each year as new committee members join. I strongly encourage this at your next meeting, and I will be available to provide a short overview if you like.
